1st Term of University Evaluation

Having already a sister that's passed through the University route of life, I had a fair inkling of what to expect from Uni life. Having been out of education for 2 years though, there was still a steep learning curve.

Initially I settled very well in my university accommodation and thought university for me would be a breeze. 2 weeks later when it come to actually enrolling and starting on my course, thats when the worries started to build as I felt a little lost. No matter how much support and guidance the Uni can offer you, you are at the end of the day, exploring in to unknown territory and are allowed to feel a certain ammount of un ease. With that in mind, I tried to stay very open minded and take things in my stride.

Immediately I knew I was on the right course for me. After just the first week of lectures and tutorials, the teachers, speakers and lecturers were all very professional, friendly and most of all... knew their stuf!

Since then, I have sat in class like a sponge; absorbing every little bit of information I can and asking question after question after question. The only time I feel I am being taught information that isn't entirely relevant to my course, is on a Monday morning lecture; but maybe this will change with time.

I bid thee Fairwell

Bond.
